Hey all,

I saw a picture of a 82 Nighthawk 450 scrambler build, and I absolutely loved the look of the rear fender in particular. Would the rear fender cowl from this bike fit up with an '80 CM400t, or is it a lost cause?

Here's the picture I saw in question:

Moved to SOHC Twins Miscellaneous section.

LDR would know about the fitment, he'll be along later on the west coast.

It can be done after adding the appropriate mounting brackets. Here's a '85 CB450SC frame and an '81 CM400. White tag is the SC frame

Gotcha - so it seems like I'd need to fabricate some tabs and pop them onto the frame. That sounds doable, but labor-intensive (esp for a below-amateur welder). I'd probably put that on the backburner for a bit until I get the main, functional bits sorted first.

Thank you, LDR!
