I have a cl77 305cc on a chopper, just got a voltage regulator/rectifier from 4 into 1 and it does not seem to be working. The stator wires are pink, yellow, and brown. Do i use the brown and pink wires to input on the regulator? I am getting different answers on the internet.

Pink from stator goes to the DY on the key switch. Yellow and brown to reg/rec. The reg/rec probably has a red for batt/positive and a black for volt sensing, tie it to switched power like the brake switch power.

Yeah this is a chopper, no original harness, wired with just bike and lights on or off. The brown, yellow, and pink wires are what I am trying to figure out. I test them with the bike running and get 35v AC output between brown and yellow, also between pink and brown but nothing from pink to yellow.
