The orb weavers are returned.

Never a complaint though. Always measured against the purchase of the '04 hornet from Riverside boonies.
Parked in garage two days only to open to hundreds of baby windows suspended from the ceiling, all trailed from the exhaust.

The orb weavers are mostly welcome as once establishing a spot, they take up their webs in the morning and let them back down just as the mosquitoes emerge in the evening. It's their tendency to want "participate" in work areas. Very cat-on-keyboard.
There's also a futility in spider war here, as the brown widows are highly adaptive. Have captured from a plantered mulberry tree, put drop of nail polish on the back, completely removed all trace of web, placed the widow ≈40 feet away on the other edge of lawn. 30 minutes later it's back under the same leaf from which captured. Vacuum and spray has little effect on widows or widow's webs. A gas engine pressure washer will sooner eat through the brick to which a web is attached than actually remove the web.
The brown ones have mostly banished the black ones which is a plus. Though they may just be laying in wait regrouping. There was one in a tunnel under San Bernardino high School theatre a few years ago. It was so large as to be heard when scurrying.
