swing arm dust covers

1972 CB350 twin

I have 2 swing arm dust covers with a metal backing and two that are just rubber covers OR do the robber part fit into the metal backing.

It has been 11 years since I took everything apart and I do not remember. I seen both listed but . . .

According to the parts fiche it looks like the rubber dust seals (#13) go on the inside of the swing arm and the metal caps (#12) are on the outside of the swing arm.

The metal caps had a thin section seal, often looked like dirt and dry grease so got scraped out.
Often you see two 'lines' worn through paint around swing arm pivot.
There was wider seal bonded to metal on bikes with no 'inner bearing' against frame (i.e. CB 360's, 400f, 500/550f etc)
