Here’s what I have been busy with since completing the Formula 350 bike. It’s a Suzuki SV650 which will be pulling double duty as a race and track day bike. The USCRA has a handful of modern classes and one of them is Twins. The SV fits nicely into this class. I can also use it to ride track days with friends when not racing.
I stripped the bike down of all the non essential street parts.

Then added the necessary mods to make the bike track worthy. These include front and rear suspension, stainless steel brake lines and new pads, clip-ons, exhaust, fuel tuner, tires, etc.

The project is topped off by really nice bodywork from Ghetto Customs. For the 3rd Gen bikes (2016-on) you will need to weld a lug onto the steering stem to accept the fairing stay. All the mounting holes and fasteners will need to be laid out by you but you can get some mounting brackets that make the install fairly straightforward. Here’s the finished product.
