Hi all, Udo from Germany,
after realizing that some voltage went astray on on of my original ignition coils (probably faulty HT insulation, don't think the housing is cracked), I replaced them with aftermarket ones. Since the resistance measurements don't exactly match the original - it's a bit lower - , I'm thinking of soldering new HT leads onto the originals and insulate it properly. Now, does anyone know ...
WHICH HT LEADS TO USE?
With or without resistance? Which value? Adapt resistance to spark plug caps? Do resistances add up? Any thoughts about which stuff to use to insulate where the lead hits the coil body?
Thanks all
Udo
