Post a picture of your Vintage Honda Twin!

@1969 CL350, Your ‘69 CL350 is beautiful. Where did you get the cafe racer seat?

It’s an old Bates fiberglass racing seat. I bought it around 1980 at a motorcycle shop that was going out of business. Sorry to say, they don’t make them any more.

I rolled out my CB77 for 1st time this year. I looked at the NYS Safety Inspection sticker and saw it expired 2 months ago! Now I really need to take the bike for a ride. The bike amazes me by starting up every spring/summer for the last 50 years I owned it. I rode to my motorcycle dealership for the inspection, and ever year, I have to explain to the young technicians that the old Hondas do not have a front brake light switch.
I took a longer route home and stopped to get this picture at the Appalachian Trail crossing Route 284 in Wantage Township, NJ, just south of the NYS border.

Somewhere along the way I missed the fact that you've owned this bike almost its entire life. I'm sure those young techs marvel at the bike each year, or maybe they look at it like they look at us - 'boomer' bike. Either way, that's an excellent piece of history you have been smart enough to hold onto.

Got a chance to take some proper photos of the CB400T as it stands now, going to start a project thread later today and get going on cleaning the bike up since I've got the day off. Have some replacement struts from TEC on the way for the rear, and have an exhaust leak to fix today!

Customers 80's CB400T

Looks like nice work and pretty cool overall, except for the pipe wrap (personal opinion) and the Honda wings on backwards... it's one of those things you can never get out of your mind once you see them reversed.

Two views of the CM450E on August 1, one of our many, many rides to Devil's Den. Second pic is a view of the bike (tiny in parking lot) and Little Roundtop from on top of the rocks at Devil's Den... the rocks you have to work hard to get on top of. LRT is undergoing some remediation work, access is closed at the moment.

You have to admit it’s a nice photo of the bike. It looks nowhere near this good in person…lol
Yay, no more photo hosting headaches!
It is a good picture, and it's hard for me to believe it doesn't really look that good. But I've never seen it in person, only your Sportster at Barber.

Went for a ride to the local hangout at the Speedway station this morning. The last 5 mornings or so have been mid 60° due to a little lower humidity, though this morning was more like 68° and a bit more humid but it's Sunday so I thought I'd go for the first time since probably April. Decent crowd there, some of the usual suspects and had a nice talk with a guy on a late model Gold Wing who was really interested in my 450. He took a picture of my VHT shirt so he could check out the site when he got home. After an hour and a half I was wiping sweat every 2 to 3 minutes, shirt was getting soaked so it was time to go.

Stopped at a crossroads near the Withlacoochee Forest for a quick picture.

Photo I took on the way home from the NAVMC breakfast yesterday. The bike runs better with the new condenser, and the weather was near perfect here in the hills of north Alabama.

Ancientdad, the NAVMC CB450 race bike took 3rd place in the AHRMA Sportsman 500 class this weekend at the Talladega Gran Prix Raceway!

My CB400NC, 1980 vintage. Bought as a restoration project, new Chain and Sprockets plus new brake pads and linings all round, new rectifier/regulator, rebuilt clutch, oil + filter and brake fluid change so far. Various cosmetic upgrades made. The Blue decals are not authentic as the black paint scheme usually had red/orange but I liked the blue. Previous owners have used so many non-original parts that I don’t intend to restore it back to original spec but to make it fully rideable and looking tidy.

Currently having problems getting one cylinder to run on low revs. Members here have given me several suggestions which will keep me going for a while.

Very neat to see a twin rotor setup on a 400cc bike. The later 80’s Comstar wheels look the part and you may have got them earlier in Europe along with twin pot calipers too. Plus a 6 speed transmission (y)

Yes, I was surprised to find sixth gear when changing up through the box. However, even with the twin disc set up at the front the brakes could best be described as “adequate”.

I thought I would share what’s going on in north Idaho , Palm Springs and San Diego with the Hondas . I’m still hurt and shocked to have lost my close friend Bill Wilson I was tasked with finding new homes to his car collection and 143 Hondas , I didn’t do it all but assisted, IMG_5020.jpeg

Then I found my CL160 , a six years restoration by a sixties Honda tech , still needing Bill Silver to correct and repair. It may be done next week here in San Diego. Then I need to ship one to Hayden Idaho as I have only room for one on my Motorhomes carrier. I had one when I was stationed in Fort Cambell and Fort Sill IMG_3121.jpegIMG_8682.jpegIMG_5021.jpegIMG_5014.jpeg

Bill was a true friend and enthusiast, he had a special motorcycle lift room in his warehouse and would store each bike after correcting and fogging the cylinders

Nice pictures. Yes, the heatwave is gone now, was last week in Serbia for work, 40.0 - 42.0, every day. In the evening at 21.00 at dinner still 33 degrees Celcius.
