still trying to get my newly-restored SL175K0 to run properly/at all....compression is reasonable on both pots (135psi), float bowls are filling, spark is strong (Charlie's Place ignition), carbs rebuilt with new jets etc, but lots of kicking over leaves left hand plug totally dry (it did start reluctantly a few days ago but ran on right hand pot only, left hand header cold, now it won't start at all, even though right hand plug is wet with fuel). I had set carb stop and mixture screws before when it ran better, but, ever since the re-build i have had issues with one pot running much cooler than the other. Any ideas? (before i go the Mikuni VM route).

No fuel on the left indicates a clogged idle passage on that side. Have you tried cracking the throttle a bit while kicking?

The electronic ignition was in use prior to the rebuild? Have you verified that the timing is [still] correct?

I know you verified spark. If that was a while ago, make sure it's still good. Something silly like dropping a plug on the floor could close the gap in an unlucky situation.
