Needing help on a 1986 CB450SC

I just bought my first motorcycle and I knew going into it. I was going to have to put money towards fixing it because the previous owner had told me he had laid it over and that there were minor things to replace. I got a pretty good deal on it and it being my first bike. I won’t lie. It was impulsive, but that being said I’m really trying to get this bike up and running and usable as my daily driver. I’m gonna post a link to a bunch of pictures of the bike.
I know this sounds stupid and kind of a shot in the dark but if there is anything that you see that I need to take care of ASAP, please let me know. I’ll list a couple of things that I know. I need to take care of.


The things I know i need:
. Handlebar.
. Drive chain.
. Oil, filler cap/plug.
. Front and rear wheel.
. Carb replacement or cleaning kit
. Break and clutch lever replacement.
. Grip replacement

As for your list

Why??
. Carb replacement or cleaning kit.
I see fuel residue on the outside which is of no concern to running. There are no Keihin replacement carbs, Mikuni only and that's a whole different critter.
. Break and clutch lever replacement.

Looking at the photos I see the need for a through degrease and pressure wash.
One of the sparkplug caps has a split boot where the wire enters, fill the gap with silicone sealer until you can replace them, NGK XD05F.
The bent rear strut the turn signal is mounted to can be straightened. Place in oven at @200 for 1/2 hour, then using a vise to hold it apply slow even pressure to straight it. Don't go fast or do it cold.
Be careful of the side covers, the right side is almost impossible to find.
Tires need replacement, 100/90/19 front and 130/90/16 rear

So concern I have about the wheel are I’m not sure if it’s an alignment issue, if it’s my forks, or if the wheel is actually bent.

And yes, please. Can you send me the FSM? All I have is a small owners manual that I’m not sure actually goes to this bike. LMAO.
 
Check your PM's for the link.
Spin each wheel while holding something against the rim, plastic is good so there's no scratching. If the wheel rubs evenly a full turn it's not bent.
 
Reminder to close (turn OFF) the gas valve at tank petcock when parked to eliminate the possibility of gas flowing out of a leaking carb and into a combustion cylinder (which will remove cyl wall lube film) and dilute motor oil

He has a vacuum petcock which closes when the engine is off due to no vacuum.
 
On a side note that broom oil dip stick would be quite the conversation piece at coffee and donuts time. Just mark some high and low graduations on the stick. ;)
