I wad able to press the pistons into the caliper using a C clamp but now I cannot get them out. I may try grease but I need a more efficient way of getting the grease inside. One piston came out partially.

On another matter, The old switches are shot to hell
The replacements have more wires and I don't feel confident getting it to run correctly.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

I dripped some Liquid Wrench penetrating oil in between the caliper and pistons before using compressed air (with conical rubber tip on my air hose) into the brake fluid line port to blow them out of the caliper. I also used a thin plank of wood held somewhat in the brake pad zone of the caliper to blow the pistons into.

Another rebuild kit option is a K&L Supply kit #32-1153 if your pistons are not scored, pitted, or otherwise damaged and are reusable.
It's sold by many vendors including this one:

Notice it does not include a new bleeder valve screw like the BrakeCrafters kit includes if you discover that the closing point of your bleeder screw is pitted and requires replacement.
Those bleeder screws (43352-568-003) are also available genuine Honda from your local Honda Powersports dealer...

Regarding the switches (or, "controls") on the handlebars : some here have dismantled, cleaned, re-lubed, and reassembled them successfully.
I dismantled and serviced my left side control on one of my bikes when I discovered the headlight switch needing what seemed like too much force to switch around, and I'll be doing the same to the right side control of my other bike because the starter push-button needs an internal cleaning and re-lube.

You should be able to find the helpful thread(s) in the sub-forum for electricals in the SOHC sub-forum.
