Finally, congratulations.
Ladies, usually on Vespas, screamed "Keep Yours' testicles healthy !!!".
It was cold sunny Sunday morning. After 120 km (70 miles?) and two castles on my way I have landed in Cracow.
That was the first time I have struggled with registration, due to attendance limits. Over 280 riders had signed to this ride.
Weather was perfect, ladies were cute & charming, bikes were shining and Kazimierz (former Jewish Cracow district) was full of tourists.
Some interesting bikes had been spotted, some journalist met, endorphines high. After 12 hours, I have returned with feeling that this is only chapter and new stories are coming. Good luck, enjoy Your rides and take care of You.
Some photos below:

Is this a ride that is done every year? I don't imagine there is one organized anywhere near me in Idaho, but I saw one of them was in Seattle.

Here is a screenshot of the 3 rides I see in Idaho, maybe one of them is near you. Links to the 3 belowThat looks fun....I don't think there are any rides in my area unfortunately

Looking forward to itNYC was yesterday too - waiting for the professional photos to come out =)

I think, there are no copyrightsReally cool photos and a heck of a lot more scenic than the Dallas "ride". That CB500F was a beauty! I wonder if I can get those tank graphics to work on the CX...
one way seems no problem, but in scope of radius from home this can a be a challenge. At least for me1km per 1cc, so a CB350(325cc) was supposed to hit 325km's or 202 miles?
We already know he's a nice guy in person. You look too darn distinguished there, 2wheel, but you must be a nice guy cause you ride a Honda.![]()
Great pictures again this year Andrew, and thanks for posting the link to the Google Photos pictures and video. Looks like it was a great time despite the weather threat.Oops!... I did it again.
The weather forecast for last Sunday predicted some storms and heavy rains. Distance to cover was adequate to engine capacity (~1ccm/1km), which can be a challenge even on bigger bikes.
I have decided to put some comfort before fashion. I have packed rain suit, took a flip-on helmet, wear shirt, jacket, bow tie and started my trip to Cracow at 0700am. It takes little above two hours to reach destination, including standard photo session in karst river valley covered in the morning sun glory. Curvy road, Hercules's mace, castle and fresh cold air makes good start of this day. Air was clear, so even highest Polish mountains were visible within 200 km range.
I have arrived on the meeting square at the Cracow Old Town, old Jewish district with a lot of history (Schindler factory was placed nearby). This time DGR Cracow event coordinator invited oldtimers and classics to the front line. My little Honda was aligned with old Royal Enfiled, BSA from 1934, Jawa from 1938 and some others interesting bikes. Eldest bike, BSA, was designed with open oil circuit, so small oil marks were present at the parking. We had good live music band with some ragtime standards, some speeches, doctor advices, coffee and cakes service and a lot of fun watching bikes and usual biker small talk.
In total 302 participants were registered, but some of them were missing, due to weather forecast, I suppose.
We have started at 1130am and ride Cracow main city roads with low pace following Jeep Willys with camera crew. Willys had some British genre, as driver put carton below engine immadiately after stop at a square. Low pace was the possible reason why oldest bikes were not able to finish the ride. As usual, full support and service for bikes was provided, so nobody suffered.
After official ride, decorations, official photo and greetings we have disperced to small Old Town streets for lunch/coffee/cigar/pipe and other activities. I have got ramen for the first time and it seems that there is coincidence, that ramen and Honda comes from the same origin.
Storms and rains have spared me all the hassle, some drops washed only 2 km from my home. Ten minutes later rainbow has greeted my return.
I hope we will see together again next year.

I am registered to ride for the first time in Greenville SC. I think there are around 80 riders signed up to participate. I am not sure how many will be on vintage Hondas but I plan to ride my ‘69 K2 CB450. I will try my best to take some pics although I usually get caught up in conversation and do a lousy job with photos.Curious to hear from others who are participating in the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride this weekend? I will be riding in Calgary on the newly finished S90. We learned today that the local ride has been pushed back by a day due to a pretty lousy weather forecast so we will be riding on Monday instead. No worries since it's a public holiday in Canada. Love to see pics and hear how it goes for others around the world. I'll be sure to post a few pics afterwards.
For those who aren't aware....

Remember, .... VHT![]()

Fabulous pictures and coverage Chris, and you absolutely nailed it with that suit! And thanks for representing VHT as always. Having been to Falls Park at the Reedy with you previously, I completely agree that it was a perfect location for the gathering. Thanks for sharing what looked to be a great ride and day.The 2025 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Greenville SC had its staging in downtown on the Main St bridge overlooking the Reedy River. Quite a picturesque location and an example of impressive coordination of the ride by its host Kelly Acebel and the City of Greenville.
2025 was my first year participating in the DGR and I did my part by riding my vintage Honda K2 CB450, wearing one of my “finest”suits, and raising just under $500 for the cause.
The Greenville event had 85 riders participating that were able to raise in excess of $48,000 for the DGR this year! Given this amount, I think this may make Greenville SC the top worldwide rider group in the DGR when considering the ratio of number of riders vs money raised. I also believe this easily places Greenville as one of the top 20 cities worldwide for total donations received for the DGR. Again quite impressive totals with credit due to the local organizers and dedicated riders!
It should be noted that there were several riders who far exceeded expectations in their fundraising. Clyde Fowler riding a 40’s era Harley was the highest earner with a whopping +$12,000 haul in donations!!! He is undoubtedly one the top worldwide leaders if not the absolute highest. Notable as well were at least 2-3 other local riders who raised in excess of $5,000 each! Well done guys!
As far as bikes in attendance, there were quite a few of the modern retro style such as Triumphs and Royal Enfields along with a good representation of true vintage rides throughout. There were vintage Triumphs and Nortons along with a Motoguzzi or two, the aforementioned 40’s Harley, and I think it was a 30’s era Indian as well. There was even a Ural sidecar rig complete with accompanying canine passenger.
Not to be overlooked was the one other vintage Honda twin other than mine - another CB450. This one very original and highly polished. A very nice ride indeed!
The ride concluded at a local brewery where there were some local participating sponsors, a band playing, food, and a much anticipated celebratory post-ride beer!
And yes, I did try and represent this forum in some small way by placing my helmet with ”bedazzled” VHT sticker in a prominent location on my bike. Good times!![]()

Thanks for the compliment! I’ve been disappointing failure at ever following through with a build thread. This bike was put together during Covid summer 2020 so I have a history with the bike at this point. Since there is some interest I will attempt to slowly detail that history in an after the fact build thread. Once started I’ll put a link to that here.@12ozPBR that is a great looking 450. Do you have a build thread on it. Very classy looking ride. I really like the black rims!
