If this tool only works once the way it shows in the video, it's worth owning. One of my all time least favorite tasks when doing mechanical work. Now being closed out at Harbor Freight for $19.95, in store only. Get one while they last.

Anyone here actually used one of these?

Looks like the real deal, on that cast iron Cummins engine block, not sure I would risk gouging the sealing surface using it on aluminum parts.
Yeah, not worth doing damage. OTOH it looks like the blade barely moves. Seems like it's worth a try. Will report back once I have mine and try it out.

Cool tool but if it's been my experience that HF pneumatic tools are crap.
But if you only need it once, well $20 isn't too bad a deal.
Not exactly something you could pass on to your grandkids. But for twenty bucks, it it works twenty times, I'd say I got my money's worth.

It isn't quite as nice to use on aluminium plus you have to sharpen the scrapers before using it .
Blunt tools are just not safe
I bought one a few years ago, had a job getting hold of it as none of the 3 HF stores relatively close stocked it and had to be ordered from warehouse.

Personally I've had great luck with many HF air tools, the die grinders I bought around 2002 were so reliable I ended up giving 3 or 4 away because I was expecting one use for a few hours then bin them and start again with a new one (they were $9.99 back then, less with coupons). (still work just as well today)
I don't use HF air motor oil though plus, I almost always do as Stephan Gotteswinter said on one of his You Tube video's, 'Treat Chinese equipment like your buying a kit of parts not a usable tool'
I've found Chinese stuff needs at minimum de-burring and maybe flash removal, possibly new bearings but not always (and sand from castings)
If I had the money to buy better quality I would but most stuff is Made In China with very variable quality control so why pay someone to do things I'm going to do anyway (I like to see whats inside some of these tools)
Last thing I bought was a chainsaw 'chain spinner' for $30.00 instead of more normal prices you see between $75~$180. Missing spinning die but they are $8.00 to buy or, piece of 8mm Allen key cut and re-hardened probably works better? (you all know what I did  )
