Hello,
I got a 1965 CB72 restored. I cleaned the carbs in the ultrasonic new needles jets etc. I checked the parallel moving of the floatsetc.
I can´t achieve a decent idle. I also started with the floats bottomed out and the air screw 3/4 turns out.
I warmend up the engine to adjust the idle without a good result. When I turn in the float adjusting screws the floats only lift up minimally.
To get an idle at all I have to turn out the cable adjuster of the gas cable leading from the twist grip to the splitter.
The floats are then almost half open.
What is wrong?
Do you have a picture of your float opening after you adjusted the idle?
Any help is appreciated.
