Hello All,
Could anyone provide an opinion on these fork tubes working on my CB500T build? https://www.ebay.com/itm/164053011549 (I know they are slightly longer than the original tubes 22 3/4" vs 22 3/8")
I've been doing a lot of reading & researching on this topic and understand that some of these 35mm tubes will swap across different models https://www.hondatwins.net/threads/what-fork-tubes-will-fit-my-1970-cb450.40945/
To add a little more confusion ... I have both the original CB500T fork lower casings and a set of casings from a 1970 CL450 (see picture) ... I like the CL450 lowers because they are set up for a drum front brake which is what I am planning to use on this build. I believe they accept a 35mm fork tube.
Would the inner components from my original forks work with these tubes and the '70 CL450 lower casings?
Thanks as always for the thoughts ... Bill
