I have been riding this bike along with the CB1100F this summer. The CB450 was a very clean and low kilometer bike as purchased. It just rolled over 12,000 kilometers this afternoon on a 181 kilometre afternoon ride to that point in my journey. I normally don't take pictures, yet I managed to see the event coming up on the odometer and stopped and recorded it.
Beautiful riding weather today in the mid 20's C and all backroads for the ride. The summer leaves are just starting to turn on a few maple trees, yet a long way to go yet.

As purchased with 8667 kilometers

Well if all goes well the 1984 CB450SC will be going to a new to our sport young fellow. He came up this past Saturday with his dad and a few friends and liked the bike enough to give me a good deposit. I am arranging the safety certification for him tomorrow at Barrie Honda. The Ontario government changed the rules for the certification process a year ago. It is a much more intensive a process now with pictures required to be taken and submitted on special iPad type device supplied by the government for verification of the proper measurements. It costs just over $300. Canadian now for a certification, where it was $100. for me in the past. My guy just wrote my safety based on my information and trust in my work done. He is no longer doing the safety's now because of the cost of the equipment required to complete the extensive process.
I guess the government got wise to some of these shady dealings going on for years within the small shops, so the crackdown has come. :(

Nice! The end of another chapter, and maybe end of this book. Next thing you know you will be scrolling the internet to find another project. :)
