I found it yesterday on Craigslist, called in sick today and went to bring it back. Bob was the original owner and had bought it in 1965. The odometer shows 19551.9 miles but was probably removed when the glass shattered. Bob had outfitted this bike for off-road duty as was fairly common. An extended swingarm, aftermarket rear shocks trials tires, a sawed-off muffler and a 54 tooth rear sprocket were all it took.

A new unused muffler in serviceable condition, new fork springs, spring bushings and gaitors are included. The fuel tank is quite good inside, some rust but but surprisingly clean. The original petcock is still there and another was included, not oem I think.
The chrome panels are 8/10 and so are the rubber knee pads. The tank badges are both present, rough but present.
Fenders and seat are present and there is a front tire Michelin City dated 2019 that I might offer up for the cost of shipping.

I like the white paint and will search and ask around to see if something close is easily available. At first I was thinking that white appliance epoxy would do well, but I think it's just too bright, thoughts?

Niiice. When I saw that sprocket, I had a sudden longing (insofar as that is possible) to ride that bike. Are you planning to do away with that aspect of the build?

I have a white 1965 Honda S90 gifted to me from an old boss. I used a Duplicolor Ford color which I thought matched very well. See the pics below. Yes I know the fenders are supposed to be silver but I liked the black contrast. Only did a top end rebuild previously and has developed a number of oil leaks so pulling the engine this winter for a full tear down and rebuild. This will probably be my go to bike all too soon. The 450 is one heavy beast compared to the 90.
