'72 CB 350 top motor mount fitment

The top motor mount is off slightly all the other four motor mount bolts are in. I loosened the lower 4 and the engine still will not move even with gentle persuasion from a small jack. Anybody lese have this issue? Will it be possible to use a smaller bolt or eliminate that bolt? A 6mm bolt will not fit.

Is that upper engine mount bolt loose as well?

I might suggest making sure all the other mounting bolts are quite loose and then use a spud ( I use a long narrow tapered round chisel) in the recalcitrant hole and make it line up. This kind of finicky back and forth with an assortment of spuds is par for the course. Keep at it, you'll get 'er

I remember struggling with the upper mount on my CB350 as well. I think @Tony Clifton has the right idea and you will get it.
