Hello, just in case anybody needs something. Happy to help :)

On my way to rebuild a CB450K2 and a K5 I was faced with diverse lacks of parts, which I had to build by myself or which I had to find.

It's mostly for CB450K, like the air filter covers incl. the sealings, fastenings for air filters and side covers (there I have two versions) and the oval rubber parts

Rubber parts for the trear mud guard and the parts to fasten the battery box,

and the battery covers (two alternatives, stock and modified with fuse storage 25, 30mm or flat), the battery sleeve and matt from the early K1 (and also a version for the CL77!),
the stock rubbers for the side covers and handy tools for the outer crankshaft bearings, and the rubbers for the gas tank.

then I have the housings for the light switch at the handle bar and the knob for the light switch at the head light and in the backround some parts for EL250, Yamaha XS1 and the handle bar rubbers for CB92 Benly/Dream

And last but not least all bolts (PH) for the engines K0 and later, and (nearly) all parts which where missing in the sealing kits

And if you are in need of something other, I am very fast in modelling at my 3D CAD system. :) Just need a good sketch, photo with banana for scale or an original part even if it is broken.

Feel free to ask.

Best regards,
Thilo, Germany, but already shipped to EU, UK, Canada, Mexico, Australia and USA

Hey Thilo,

I have a 3d printer myself and have printed my own parts and emblems for other things like instruments, but it's only been models I've found online for the most part. My CAD skills are not very great.

Since you mentioned being fast, I was curious if you thought you could duplicate the "CB360T" emblems for the side covers of that bike, like seen here? I do have one emblem to get more accurate details.

I have my own single color printer and would probably paint the white and orange rather than trying for a multicolor model. Although from my limited CAD skills I would think that adding seperate files of letters and numbers to print and glue in could be an option too.

Perfectly fine if you can't do it! maybe it will be the motivation I need to improve my own skills.

Well done! That’s an impressive set of parts.

Question: are you using FDM (Filament Deposition Modeling) or resin SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) or SLA….?

And what material? (Wondering if the parts will need painting if something like PLA?)

I’ve FDM printed urethane shock bushings that have held up well so the process is applicable to our environment.
