I stumbled on this link somehow yesterday, can't remember how I found it, but this set of coils with caps looks decent and the price is (probably too good to be true) cheap. And the ad doesn't say what ohm rating the coils or caps are

I actually found them even cheaper before that at this site, then searched the brand name. This site just added to the sketchiness, couldn't find anything on them

Tom,
I bought the exact same from Amazon ( I still have the black box with ATV logo on it lying around somewhere ) and from memory the coils measured near enough 3 ohms each .
I did change the 120 degrees caps for 90 degree ones as I thought the 120 ones

looked a bit naff when fitted.
My 90 degree caps measure 5k ohms as I use non resistor plugs.
so far all operating without issue.

Did you happen to ohm out the caps by chance?

The 120 degree ones?
I just went and found the same spare coil and 120 plug cap.
Cap measures 4.7k ohms on my Fluke 19
and Unused coil measures 4 ohms. This after taking away 0.6 ohms meter test lead resistance.

Yes, sorry, I should have been more clear. I like the 120° caps and it's always nice to add more spares, really the main reason I was curious about them. I was fortunate to stock up on B8ES before they ran out, so I probably have a lifetime supply. Ever since NGK quit selling the 120° resistor caps it's gotten harder to find them.

I have a different set of their coils on the GL - wouldn’t say I’ve put enough miles in to give a good indication. Caps were resistor though IIRC - i too removed them because I needed the long 180’s.

I do have their petcocks on everything but the 160. Those seem decent quality - or at least a heavier chineseum.
