Gravel

Ouch. Hope your ok.
Not a scuff or scratch on skin, shoes, or orange waffle shirt. Always oil on the powder blue Dickies so can't assess that. Suspected blood for a moment but no just wet reminder to replace that old gas cap seal finally.
While siding the only thought was "well this is annoying".
Looked it over, calculating the repair cost, then compared to the expected cost if it happened on the gtl1600. Rode it home.
only complaint is that there be gravel.

Did warn another on bike turning in while taking photos. He asked if anything was needed, said he lives there and agrees totally dangerous, and could swear he saw my bike often parked up the block. Never has been.
Thinking it may possibly belong to a member, lurker, or VHTignorant in Upland, he then mentioned Suzuki.
Tipped helmet and was off at a lesser pace to watch for wobbles that never came.

If you're in my area I might have replacement parts
Appreciated, looks like you're Los Angeles, I'm on the eastern boundary of LA county, so not far. Would buy a headlight bucket from you if available and it fits the cb200 brackets. The blinker stems, brackets and shifter are all repairable. New lenses are easy to obtain.

I had just put a new LED in the Stanley bulb housing too. Shock of going down made the solder on that and the blinker LEDs fracture.

Impressed that the handlebar didn't bend at all. Received as an extra with the bike. Believe it's a Renthal.

A steel headlamp shell from a CB175 or Cb350 will fit the CB200 / CB175K7 headlamp ears. Need to check that headlamp rim is compatible, two different types. One with fixing screws in rim, other with fixing screws in shell. UK spec bikes have lighting switch on the headlamp shell.

Tach cable isn't connected on 2nd photo?

Halfway through a rebuild, no engine in frame. Thinking about it, the shell in the 2nd picture was still the cracked ABS one that I subsequently replaced with a steel one, then came across the issue of the mounting screws.

Also glad to hear you're ok.
That headlight bucket is tough to find.
I wish someone would repop the HM-16M, I think there's money to be made there.
It was also used on on the CJ360T. (And the CL350's)

Agree, and I'm really surprised that the RetroCB dude hasn't yet. Maybe someone should suggest it to him. Wonder if he might want to be a sponsor of VHT.... he would certainly gain a chunk of audience.

Bit miffed now didn't have presence of mind to pick up the broken pieces.
Between the original bucket now not currently useable and the sorry state the seat cover has become, may decide to repair with modern options.
Know what colors that bucket was available in?
