Selling my fully restored 1967 Honda CL77 305 scrambler. This particular CL77 is especially desirable being a 1967 model with the very rare/limited chrome fenders. The 67' year models also came equipped with larger drum brakes and an integrated muffler.
Prior to restoration, this CL77 started as a very nice original bike with low miles. It received a full nut and bolt restoration and truly no expenses were spared. It was fully disassembled (including the motor) and every part was either re-painted, re-plated, or polished. The motor was fully disassembled and rebuilt with new seals, bearings, bushings, rollers, etc. If it was worn, it was replaced with the proper OEM or NOS part. The motor is as good as new (with just over 500 miles since the rebuild), it runs perfectly and starts on the first kick. The wheels were rebuilt with stainless spokes, new bearings, tires, etc. All of the rubber items, cables, electrical items (ignition, coils, points, battery, light bulbs), brakes, chains, etc, were replaced with NOS or OEM parts. Every nut and bolt was either polished, re-plated, or replaced. This is not powder coat - it's professional-grade automotive paint. The color is a little different from the original - it has a metallic flake in it. I thought the original color was a little dull and I wanted the bike to pop a little more, and it really does now. I'm probably forgetting something, but essentially this bike is perfect.
Located in Walpole ME. Look on the auction sites (Mecum, bringatrailer, etc), they've sold for as much as $16,000...
