Relacing a CL450 wheel with a better rim I believe is off of a CB450. To my knowledge they are identical. Anyways just curious as I noticed while lacing there is a gap between where the spokes cross on the non-brake side. But they touch on brake side where they cross. This is consistent all the way around the wheel. Hard to take picture.

I may try relacing to see if I missed something. I did make sure the spokes had the correct angles i/o, bend etc. Anything I'm missing? do I flip the rim around or something :)

Actually I noticed some of the spoke nipples aren't seated straight either for some reason....

Oh interesting thank you. Did not realize the angles were different. I've only laced older bicycle wheels which don't typically use angled seats
The disc brake hubs on the '70s Hondas were mostly the same and smaller diameter, kinda like the spool hubs all the chopper guys wanted back then. Significant diameter difference between them and the fairly large DLS CL450 front drum hub.
