For my 1966 CB450 KO. As many of you know the later models are not a direct fit and I want to avoid altering the wiring if possible. Any help or advice is much appreciated

The parts fiche lists both the early (283 middle number) and the later model (292 middle number) for both the clutch outer and sprocket. I'm not sure if that means both types will bolt to the early rotor. If they do, then you would have much better luck finding the later style sprocket and clutch outer.
The rotor looks like it had a helicoil repair to one of the clutch retaining screw holes and another looks like the threads are worn. Is this why you are looking for a new rotor? Can the threads be repaired with another helicoil or are they too worn.
One of the posts is broken off on the rotor alternator so I want to replace that as it's difficult to repair. The screws and the rest can be repaired but having NOS parts is a plus and will keep this thing running for a long time.
