Ah ok, that would make sense. Just put in new ones but I may have fitted them incorrectlyLittle oring behind those screws have failed or are missing.
If those allen-headed screws have threads all the way to the head, that could be part of it. The factory JIS screws are not threaded near the head of the screw so the o-ring can seal properly.Ah ok, that would make sense. Just put in new ones but I may have fitted them incorrectly
they are threaded all the way to the head, so that makes complete sense. These were replacements I got via those guys in Houston, I will most likely try to get the correct JIS screws as to not constantly be running into issues with the o ringsIf those allen-headed screws have threads all the way to the head, that could be part of it. I’ve got those same ones. Make sure to clean the “seat” part and I went with a slightly fatter o-ring, helps to out a little oil on them ahead of time.they are threaded all the way to the head, so that makes complete sense. Good eye Mike. What about the drip, on the bottom of that exhaust pipe?
Oh man - I had to pull it up on laptop to see that... There's also what appears to be a drip landing on top of the stator housing as well, so something could be dripping off the fins behind that exhaust and just happen to settle in those countersinks for those screws. Going to need to take a look behind the exhaust to confirm. What about the drip, on the bottom of that exhaust pipe?
