Working on a ca95 and did a re-ring and lapped the valves and everything looked pretty good. Back together and running but right cylinder is burning oil and smoking really bad. Rings are seated good and seem to be ok... I read somewhere about a similar problem and the author had mentioned an o ring was missing on his build and that was the problem. For the life of me I can't figure out where this thing is located... anybody know anything about this?

Perhaps you were reading this thread at HT? If so, it mentions the o-ring on one of the cylinder studs that serves as an oil return. In any case, that thread should make for good reading in your situation.

The small O ring I think you are referring to sits over one alignment knock pin. If the O ring was missing, you would see a big mess fast.
1st think that comes to mind is the piston rings on the right side are not staggered. Ring gaps should stagger roughly 10 o'clock - 2 o'clock -6 o'clock more or less.
2nd is the rings installed upside down.
3rd Valve guides on the oil burning cylinder are bad.
Other members may chime in as to their own suspicions. But these three suspicions as mentioned have bitten me in the backside on the several CA95 engines I have rebuilt.
