If anyone has any leads on a restorable CB77 305 Super Hawk priced within reason please shoot me a PM. I have a CA77 and CL77 completed and would like the Hawk to round out the trio for some reason, probably a senility issue. While the nut and bolt restorations are beautiful to look at and appreciate the builder's talent, the prices are far above my shrinking mad money budget. The main priority would be a decent miles engine with compression, cosmetics are no problem, and the rougher the better as long as it is reflected in the selling price. I am located in Virginia and don't mind traveling a reasonable distance to pick up a project. Of course a good title would be preferred but missing paperwork is certainly not a deal breaker. Did you find the CB77?

I have one that needs full restoration. I just noticed the guy who I bought my 4 vintage motorcycle had the CL77 motors in each bike.
I just got rid of the CB77E, but still have the CB77 and another CB77E motor with chassis.

I believe he did, though he didn't come back to close this one out. Take a look here, from April of 2025
