I honestly didn't even realize I was missing the second one until today. Owned the bike almost 15 years. No wonder my muffler studs broke off!

Got these pictures from ebay, there are a few there that aren't too expensive but I'd rather buy from you guys if you have them.
Thanks!

My CB350 came with a CL exhaust, but none of the mounting brackets. Seems like they get lost when folks leave bikes disassembled for a long time. I ended up collecting the missing pieces on eBay.

I suppose they aren't so special that you couldn't fabricated close enough facsimiles, especially that triangular-ish bracket.

I have a piece of steel sitting right next to my "rectangle" bracket, the last one I have left, with the intention of cutting it to size, but I figure if I can buy one for a fair price and spend my time elsewhere, I'll try that first.

getting the angles right on that pipe shaped one though sounds a bit harder.

Looks like you could just use some flat stock in place of the round. Easy enough to bend the angles using a vise and a hammer. Round the ends off with a grinder and drill the holes. They just used the chrome pipe to be pretty.

you know, I hadn't thought of that. Truth be told most of the brackets I've made for my bike in the past have wound up cracking from vibrations after a year or two, and my 350 is my nicer looking bike so I wound up getting one on ebay. A seller made an offer after they saw me look at their listing a few times today, and it seemed fair enough.

That said... that triangle one was more expensive, and looked easier to make, and I got bored this evening so we'll see how this one holds up in a couple weeks when I get that far.

I can probably remove mine to get rough measurements if you'd like to fabricate them yourself.
If you think of it sometime the next couple weeks, I wouldn't say no to better measurements. Mine looks like it will fit well enough, but I think it might be a hair off. But if it's a hassle, don't worry about it. I'm sure I can make a hole a bit bigger if it's a bit off. I'm waiting for a cam roller pin thing on the bottom of the cylinders (should have been here days ago, but got lost in the mail and I had to order another!) and a gasket that kits skip for the oil baffle. That and I need to weld some studs on the back of my muffler, so it will be a couple weeks (optimistically) until I need it.

Here are my rough measurements. Keep in mind that my parts are used — at least one hole has been worn into an oval.

Oh dang! Those are awesome sketch ups of the dimensions, I'll have to compare your numbers to mine and see how far off I am. Thanks so much!

Just wanted to chime in again and say thanks for the measurements stl360+450! My bracket was a little bit off, but I was able to just use the next drill bit size up and make the holes work close enough. I had to weld the studs back on my lower muffler as they had all broken off due to this missing bracket. It was my first time using my little stick welder. Lets just say I'm really glad they're on the back of the muffler and now hidden behind brackets!

Although looking closer at this picture, I need to double check that top nut and make sure that's tight enough, or maybe add another large washer. The sheet stock I used is thinner than the stock stuff so I needed an extra washer for a spacer.

Now if I could just figure out my bogging down issue, but that's another post.

So is it fair to say we can mark this [FOUND] then? 😁
definitely, yes!

You might consider making a second bracket of the exact same thickness to double that one up. It appears to be much thinner than the originals, which were 3.25 mm.
I've had this welder for years and just opened it this month because I thought my 120v garage wouldn't be able to do much. The one time in the past I tried a 120v welder, it couldn't do much but this one seems much better than that old one. I also looked up angle grinders as mine has some issues and found those were a lot cheaper than I remember so I have a new one of those as well. I'm eager to try more metal working projects that I've been avoiding for years, and rebuilding this bracket will probably be up there, but I'm glad it's working for now!
