Early rounded float bowl carbs have a fixed power fuel jet under the brass block off cap screw. Later flat side float bowl carbs have removeable power fuel jets of either 140 or 180 size ( I can see the smaller inside threads in your pic). The exposed power air jet, on the snout, is usually a 130. The cap screw must be there for the power jet to function.
