Recently purchased a 400cc sohc the guy labeled it as a 450 but it definitely isn’t. Still bought the engine regardless it’s in great shape on the top end and such but the nc01e coded engines are 5 speeds right?I was hoping for a 6 speed or 450 to swap into my bike but considering how screwed up the spark plug threads on my old engine are from one of the previous owners I may swap them regardless and put the old 400 into a go kart or something similar after repairing it.

The NC01 engines are all 5 speed trans. The 6 speed trans can be installed easily.
