CL160 petcock to gas tank o ring size

hello, this seal seems to be unavailable and shown incorrectly on parts lists, so , does anyone know what cross-section diameter and internal diameter it is, please....i'm pretty sure its a standard o-ring, although it fits into an oval recess in the petcock

Here is the part number and it is a 23mm OD round O ring but a thin O ring. It isn't shaped like the oval on the petcock it is a round O ring that needs to be fit into the oval in the petcock.
Since your in England CMSNL has one for the CL175 which uses the same part and it has stock. Your local Honda dealer may also still have availability too.

Honda part: 16997-273-000 Also uses 16997-273-006 which maybe a better fit? Lots of online suppliers show it available currently.

thanks very much for that, the first appears to be a square-section o-ring and the -006 appears to be a round-section o-ring...both on order, will feedback re how well they fit/seal

Yes I saw the squared off one too and think the round one will be better fit. Yet both are listed as correct with the 006 as newer replacement number.
