I purchased my CA160 with a broken chain. The chain was bound up around the front sprocket and when I finally was able to get it free, it looks like it resulted in a bent clutch rod. My question is, will it be necessary to pull of the left crankcase cover in order to do this?
Thanks.

Yes, the left crankcase cover on the smaller twins includes the clutch lifter mechanism and the rod is between the cover and the bottom end.

Hello, replace the pushrod seal and left engine cover gasket. I would suggest counter shaft, shift shaft seals also.
Purchase of a full gasket set and oil seal kit would be wise.
Good Luck, HondaJohn
