Sometimes at the gas station it’s difficult to know if the bike is actually level when checking the oil (i don’t have a center stand).

So I had this idea to make a built-in bubble level. I might get tired of it. I don’t know if i like it being in such a prominent location.

Pretty cool idea. I've found, at least on smaller bikes that can be managed with one hand on the bars to balance it off the sidestand, that you can feel when the bike is level based on the lack of the feeling of "falling" in either direction. That's how I check my restomod 450 (which weighs about 70 lbs less than the stock bike and also has no centerstand). I take the dipstick out, wipe it clean, set it down next to the bike, get the bike off the sidestand and level, then pick up the dipstick and check it, then lean the bike back on the sidestand before standing up again.

This is likely a better idea.

I like to complicate my solutions
