1978 CB400T Vintage tire option

I am in the market for a new rear tire for my 1978 CB400T. I am looking for something with a vintage look that handles well on the street. I was thinking about getting Heidenau k34 or K36 in a 4.00-18. Does anybody have any experience with these tires? I like the vintage look of these tires, and I am sure they are likely a major performance improvement to what I have now.
