1968 CL175K0 engine skid plate

As the title notes a skid plate for the engine part # 50351-236-000 which is a one year only part, so availability is limited. I am helping restore my friend Joe's bike and this is the one part that is missing from the restoration. It is a nut and bolt full restoration of this model back to new. If you have one available in your collection of parts, it would help finish this off completely. Many NOS parts and chrome work have been done on the bike's refurbishment already, so any help here is much appreciated.

Too complicated to accurately duplicate I’m afraid, as there are stamped ribbed sections that make up the original one. You could fabricate something that would work, yet not look correct. A metal smith maybe able to make something that is close that would fit, yet that work is beyond my skill set.
It took me years to find mine as a used skid plate. There was a NOS one on eBay years ago when I was looking that was very expensive, so I waited.
I have listed the part needed on EBay for notification plus CMSNL and DSS. It will be a waiting game. I am sure that the part is out there, so it just comes down to timing and finding it.

Those Honda skid plates are rarer than hen's teeth.
I'd like one for my CL350 but it will probably never be.

Still looking and I think the CL160 Scrambler which was again a single year part and model likely can be modified to fit in a pinch. So either of these are of interest if you have one or are at a swap meet and see one in your travels.
